NEET PG Cut off 2019 :-  The NEET PG 2019 exam is conducted by the National Board of Examinations. The authority i.e. NBE has released the result of NEET PG 2019 was released on january 31st. After the result the cut off for the exam is also released.

The release of NEET PG cut off is available online. The qualifying percentile for the General category is 50 & the equivalent NEET PG Cut off score is 340. The authority has raised the NEET PG Cut off 2019 by 19 marks for the General Category. The other category students (SC/ST or OBC) is raised by 14 marks. NEET PG 2019 Merit List

The NEET PG 2019 cut off is available in the percentile mode. The equivalent marks score in the exam is encrypted as percentile along with the declaration of the result. The students who score good marks in the exams means they have qualified the exams. The candidates who clears the NEET PG exam can go for the counselling process after the exam. The cut off for the NEET PG 2019 is a symbol to see which college you can get during the counselling process. The percentile you got in the exam won’t ensure a seat in a medical college. NEET PG Cut off 2019 – Minimum Percentile Required for Admission 
To qualify the NEET PG 2019 , a candidates has to score a minimum of 50 percentile for a general category. The reserved category candidates or a PwD must score atleast 40 percentile. Revision in NEET PG Cut off 2019

The number of candidates who have shortlisted in the exam must be belonging to a respective category. The central government can lower the NEET PG cut off in the advise with Medical council of India. The situation of revision in the cut off of NEET PG 2019 has raised when candidates are not enough as compared to the number of seats in the admission process. In 2018 , the cut off was reduced to the 15th percentile in each category.

NEET PG 2019 – Tie-breaking Criteria

There is a very common situation which occurs in NEET PG exam. When two candidates score same marks in exam , then the tie is break by the number of correct responses attempted by both. This happens multiple times in the exam, the candidate who marked more correct questions is given the seat in NEET PG.

  1. This becomes more complex when the number of correct responses are also same. Then the next tie breaker is made by the total percentage scored in the MBBS professional examinations. The candidates who have completed the primary medical qualification outside India can submit the FMGE score out of 300 in place of the score of MBBS professional exams.
  2. Candidates who scored more marks in MBBS professional examinations/FMGE are given more preference as compared to the ones with low marks.
  3. Still the last tie breaker condition is based on the age, the older candidate gets the higher position over the candidate of younger age.

All India Quota NEET PG Cutoff Ranks for admissions from previous years

NEET PG AIQ cut off rank shows the last rank which helps to obtained the admission for the 50% All India Quota seats under UR, OBC, SC, ST categories. According to the previous year data , the unreserved categories candidates having ranks upt 64205. The admission to the MD/MS/PG Diploma seats under 50% AIQ while the NEET PG cut off rank in 2017 was 23845.
